Owner and chef, Birendra Singh, a family run business. Birendra brings over Twenty-five years of experience as a chef to the menu. Succulent dishes are marinated and cooked in a charcoal tandoor. On the menu are favourites such as Pearl special lamb Or Chicken and Rogan Josh, and Chicken Handi - sliced chicken cooked with tomatoes, onion, cream, fresh coriander and thick gravy. The Pearl Special Chicken is Birendra's signature dish, cooked and finished with freshly ground herbs and spices. Indian Pearl specialises in Northern Indian cuisine, everything you would expect in an Indian food restaurant, and more. harking back to Birendra's own roots in North India and is well known for its authentic curries and freshly baked naan. There are lamb and seafood mains, and vegetarian and gluten free meals. All the mains are cooked mild, medium, or hot to suit tastes. Of many Google and TripAdvisor traveler Reviews are 'excellent' and 'very good'. The wine list is packed with New Zealand wines, or if preferred, you can BYO wine. There is also a full bar.
